QUESTION #1 = Dr. Wayne, How recapping some of the series for us and let's move into the final component to Staying Well for Life = TEMPERANCE and how about defining Temperance for us and why is it so crucial that we adhere to it?

QUESTION #2 = Dr. Wayne = Temperance is probably one of the most important key elements in Staying Well for Life. You mentioned in one of the earlier interviews in this series a book that anyone can find on www.half.com and the book is called World Keys to Health and Long Life by Dr. Bernard Jansen. And you made reference to some of those folks in that book who were over 150 and that is not a rare case according to all Dr. Jansen's' Findings. SO let's start there and how did all these very old people view Temperance/Moderation???

QUESTION # 9 = Temperance can also mean to totally avoid certain substances or activities, and so does abstinence. Now even though you say moderation in all things. But from our past interviews you have been adamant about NOT EATING CERTAIN THINGS NO MATTER WHAT i.e. the 3 foods to avoid at all cost. Anything White, Anything that Fizzes and anything that's greasy.

SO let's dive into a little bit of the NO's that have no moderation or temperance to them whatsoever. So I guess it bears mentioning the opposite sides of each … Abstinence and Temperance!

QUESTION #11 = Even the 2005 Dietary Guidelines puts new emphasis on moderation. Do you want to share some of that with us

QUESTION #12 = Dr. Wayne, you haven't always been this way with your health especially when it comes to TEMPERANCE. How about telling us your story with being overweight, you smoked over 2 cartons of cigarettes a week, you drank enough booze to float the Queen Mary, you were hooked on 20-30 cups of coffee a day with 2 sugars and a crème in each one and you actually thought you were healthy when you could drink it black PLUS you were sick in bed for months at a time and some other very serious health conditions that I'll let you talk about for us? What did you do to turn this whole thing around?
